2. 2Start from the mono-minimal drawing of each template and add the decoration around it. The writing area must not move — flipping from an undecorated month into this one should read as the same planner, dressed differently.
3. 3Black and white, like every interior. A week sheet in this folder is printed a dozen times a season.
4. 4Draw week-one-page and the day sheets first. Anything you have not drawn comes out in the buyer's own interior pack, so a partial folder is genuinely usable.

Where it goes wrong. Decoration that reaches into the ruled area is decoration the buyer writes over. Keep it in the margins, the gutter and the corners.

2. 2Nothing on either page may name a month. Easter is in March some years and April in others — which is why its date is computed rather than fixed.
3. 3Pastel is a light palette. Push the rules and dots darker than the decoration or they will not print.
4. 4The gratitude page's dot grid stays a working area, not a texture.

Where it goes wrong. A hardcoded 'April' is wrong roughly two years in three — and the file ships anyway, because nothing in the pipeline reads your decoration.

Where it goes wrong. A full dark page empties a home toner cartridge and buckles cheap paper. Dark frame, light field is the printable version of the same idea.

The largest special and the only one that takes pages away: three designed pages in Winter stand in for the two weeks of day sheets around 25 December.
