The folder decides which motif a file belongs to: notes-lined.A4.svg inside winter/ is the Christmas notes page, the same file name inside pastel/ is the Easter one. A decoration pack is a folder too — decor-autumn/day-2-up.A4.svg is the autumn version of that same two-day sheet.
A decoration pack does not have to be complete. A template it does not draw comes out in the interior pack the buyer chose, so start with week-one-page and the day sheets: they repeat the most.
One-off holiday pages are built with no date in their config: [month.name] resolves to January and [week.*] to the planner's first week, which is silently wrong. Use only [year], [title], [label.*], [color.*] and [font.*] on those. A monthly page and a decoration pack's pages are different — they know their month, and take [month.name], [month.year] and all the calendar tokens their template normally accepts.
Spring
springDecoration only, no pages of its own. The decor-spring pack redraws the ordinary March–May pages so those months look like spring without costing the buyer a sheet.

- 1One folder, decor-spring, holding the pages a decorated month is made of. Two files per template: A4, reused for A5, and Letter.
- 2Start from the mono-minimal drawing of each template and add the decoration around it. The writing area must not move — flipping from an undecorated month into this one should read as the same planner, dressed differently.
- 3Black and white, like every interior. A week sheet in this folder is printed a dozen times a season.
- 4Draw week-one-page and the day sheets first. Anything you have not drawn comes out in the buyer's own interior pack, so a partial folder is genuinely usable.
Where it goes wrong. Decoration that reaches into the ruled area is decoration the buyer writes over. Keep it in the margins, the gutter and the corners.

New Year
new-yearTwo pages at the very front of the planner — a goals sheet and a notes sheet, in Winter. The first thing a buyer sees after the cover.
- Style pack
- winter — Winter
- Templates
- goals notes-lined
- Falls on
- 1 January
- Placement
- Extra pages at the front, right after the cover.
- Files
- goals.A4.svg goals.Letter.svg notes-lined.A4.svg notes-lined.Letter.svg
- 1Draw goals and notes-lined in the winter folder, following their interior recipes above for structure.
- 2Recolour with [color.primary], [color.accent] and [color.surface] instead of black — this pair is not printed in mono.
- 3Make [year] a feature on the goals page: it is the year they are about to plan.
- 4Keep the writing areas near-white. People fill this page in on the first of January.
Where it goes wrong. It sits ahead of every month in the planner, so nothing on it may name a month or a week.
Valentine's Day
valentinesA single notes page in Rose Gold, dropped in after February's pages.
- Style pack
- rosegold — Rose Gold
- Templates
- notes-lined
- Falls on
- 14 February
- Placement
- Extra pages after the month it falls in.
- Files
- notes-lined.A4.svg notes-lined.Letter.svg
- 1One template, two files: notes-lined at A4 and Letter, inside the rosegold folder.
- 2Give [title] room — it arrives as the user's own planner title unless a heading is set.
- 3Put the decoration in the margins and around the block, not behind the rules.
- 4Rose Gold's accent is warm and light; keep the rules dark enough to survive a home printer.
Where it goes wrong. A tinted panel behind the ruled area makes the page pretty and unwritable. Keep the ink where nobody writes.
Easter
easterA notes page and a gratitude page in Pastel, inserted ahead of the month Easter falls in.
- Style pack
- pastel — Pastel
- Templates
- notes-lined gratitude
- Falls on
- Easter Sunday — moves every year
- Placement
- Extra pages in front of the month it falls in.
- Files
- notes-lined.A4.svg notes-lined.Letter.svg gratitude.A4.svg gratitude.Letter.svg
- 1Two templates, four files: notes-lined and gratitude at A4 and Letter, in the pastel folder.
- 2Nothing on either page may name a month. Easter is in March some years and April in others — which is why its date is computed rather than fixed.
- 3Pastel is a light palette. Push the rules and dots darker than the decoration or they will not print.
- 4The gratitude page's dot grid stays a working area, not a texture.
Where it goes wrong. A hardcoded 'April' is wrong roughly two years in three — and the file ships anyway, because nothing in the pipeline reads your decoration.
Halloween
halloweenTwo pages in Midnight, after October's pages. The one special drawn on a dark ground.
- Style pack
- midnight — Midnight
- Templates
- notes-lined gratitude
- Monthly page
- decor-halloween — Halloween decoration goals

- month-calendar week-one-page day-1-up day-2-up day-3-up day-1-plus-2 day-2-plus-2 day-1-plus-notes notes-lined
- Falls on
- 31 October
- Placement
- Extra pages after the month it falls in.
- Files
- notes-lined.A4.svg notes-lined.Letter.svg gratitude.A4.svg gratitude.Letter.svg goals.A4.svg goals.Letter.svg month-calendar.A4.svg month-calendar.Letter.svg week-one-page.A4.svg week-one-page.Letter.svg day-1-up.A4.svg day-1-up.Letter.svg day-2-up.A4.svg day-2-up.Letter.svg day-3-up.A4.svg day-3-up.Letter.svg day-1-plus-2.A4.svg day-1-plus-2.Letter.svg day-2-plus-2.A4.svg day-2-plus-2.Letter.svg day-1-plus-notes.A4.svg day-1-plus-notes.Letter.svg
- 1Two templates, four files: notes-lined and gratitude at A4 and Letter, in the midnight folder.
- 2Invert deliberately: [color.background] is dark here and [color.text] is light.
- 3Reserve at least one light panel per page. A planner page nobody can write on is decoration, not a planner page.
- 4Put the decoration in [color.accent] so it stays legible against the dark ground.
Where it goes wrong. A full dark page empties a home toner cartridge and buckles cheap paper. Dark frame, light field is the printable version of the same idea.
Christmas
christmasThe largest special and the only one that takes pages away: three designed pages in Winter stand in for the two weeks of day sheets around 25 December.
- Style pack
- winter — Winter
- Templates
- notes-lined goals gratitude
- Decoration pack
- decor-christmas — Christmas decoration
- Redraws
- month-calendar week-one-page day-1-up day-2-up day-3-up day-1-plus-2 day-2-plus-2 day-1-plus-notes notes-lined
- Falls on
- 25 December
- Placement
- Takes over the 2 weeks of day sheets around the date.
- Files
- notes-lined.A4.svg notes-lined.Letter.svg goals.A4.svg goals.Letter.svg gratitude.A4.svg gratitude.Letter.svg month-calendar.A4.svg month-calendar.Letter.svg week-one-page.A4.svg week-one-page.Letter.svg day-1-up.A4.svg day-1-up.Letter.svg day-2-up.A4.svg day-2-up.Letter.svg day-3-up.A4.svg day-3-up.Letter.svg day-1-plus-2.A4.svg day-1-plus-2.Letter.svg day-2-plus-2.A4.svg day-2-plus-2.Letter.svg day-1-plus-notes.A4.svg day-1-plus-notes.Letter.svg
- 1Three templates, six files: notes-lined, goals and gratitude at A4 and Letter, in the winter folder.
- 2These pages replace real planning pages for a fortnight. Leave genuine writing room on all three.
- 3The winter folder also carries New Year, so all five drawings have to read as one set.
- 4Use [color.*] throughout rather than fixed hex, so the pack stays recolourable.
Where it goes wrong. Beautiful and unusable costs the buyer two weeks of their planner — the one special where over-decorating has a real price for the user.
Student
studentA goals page that opens every month of the planner, written for a student's year.
- Monthly page
- motivation-student — Student motivation goals
- Falls on
- No date — covers the whole planner
- Placement
- Adds no pages: it redraws the ordinary pages of the months it covers.
- Files
- goals.A4.svg goals.Letter.svg
- 1One folder, motivation-student, holding goals at A4 and Letter. Two files.
- 2The drawing repeats once a month for the length of the planner, so no month may be typed into it. It does know its month: [month.name] and [month.year] resolve correctly here, unlike on a one-off holiday page.
- 3Black and white — it prints as often as a week sheet does.
- 4Keep the prompts general enough to still earn their place in month eleven.
Where it goes wrong. Wording that only fits the first month is wording eleven months resent.
Manager
managerA goals page that opens every month of the planner, written for a manager's year.
- Monthly page
- motivation-manager — Manager motivation goals
- Falls on
- No date — covers the whole planner
- Placement
